The aim of this course is to train leaders, support workers, and trainers in Mindfulness skills that can be taught to clients. The focus of this Mindfulness training will be to help people that engage with organisations for ongoing support, help and guidance.
Mindfulness can help clients. Mindfulness practice and mindfulness skills increases our capacity to deal with pain either physical or emotional, it enhances interpersonal relationships. Mindfulness improves health and wellbeing and improves concentration and focus and everyday coping.
Course content:
- Teaching coping strategies to cope more effectively with health and life issues
- Mindfulness can be incorporated into wellness training as it boosts self awareness, self-esteem, self-empowerment, self-compassion, and coping skills.
- It helps people to focus on the here and now and brings calm and acceptance. for those with ongoing challenges
Course Duration – 2 days
It is recommended that a follow-up full day//half day(depending on numbers and complexity) is integrated to the package as staff will be given the tools for improvement to practice with , and follow up allows for feedback, fine tuning, and increased confidence with support and practice.
